Ford to use rice hulls provided by Arkansas farms

Ford Motor Company is doing its part to be more environmentally friendly. The company has used recycled materials in its vehicles.

On Monday, the company announced plans to use 45,000 pounds of rice hulls a year, provided by Arkansas Farms. According to the Dallas News blog, the rice hulls will serve to replace a talc material in electrical harnesses of the F-Series pickups.
