(BRYANT) - Bryant Police arrested a former educator on drug charges for a second time.
Thursday, the BPD Narcotics Unit and Criminal Investigation Division received a tip of a drug transaction that would take place in the Lowe's parking lot.
While officers were on the scene, they witnessed a Gray Hyundai Sonata matching the description in the tip pull into the parking lot and complete a drug transaction.
Officers arrested Brittany Burns who is charged with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, three counts of theft by receiving, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a minor.
Two children were also in the car at the time of the arrest, a 9-year-old boy and 17-year-old girl. The children were taken to Bryant Police Department and released to their mother.
Burns is currently in custody at the Saline County Detention Center with a $5000.00 bond.
She was also arrested in January of 2012 on drug charges while working at Maumelle High School.
