Former UCA chief of staff charged

CONWAY (KATV) - In June, Jack Gillean, chief of staff at UCA abruptly resigned from the university after he couldn't come up with his master key to the school. He reportedly lost it months earlier and it was used in a theft.

A warrant was issued Friday for Gillean's arrest on a commercial burglary charge. At last check, he was still at large.

A UCA student was granted immunity for cooperating with police. The student claimed Gillean gave him the key and helped him steal academic tests from professors' offices.

Prosecuting Attorney Cody Hiland told Channel 7 News that Gillean could face additional charges.
