FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Workers are cleaning up a diesel fuel spill at a Fayetteville construction site.
Officials said Thursday that several hundred gallons of diesel spilled from a fuel tank used to fill up construction equipment.
The spill at the Vue Apartments occurred in an area where two construction workers have died.
Fire officials told Fayetteville television station KHOG (http://is.gd/2YMz2S ) that a company certified in cleaning up hazardous waste will remove the spilled fuel. The work will be supervised by federal regulators.
Construction at the site is continuing.
