Garland County inmate escapes custody
GARLAND COUNTY (KATV) - An inmate escaped custody Thursday night after receiving medical treatment.
Lavelle Taylor, 41, was being escorted back to a Garland County Sheriff's Office car around 10:00 after being treated at Mercy Hospital when he ran away from a deputy, according to authorities.
He was handcuffed and wearing an orange prisoner jumpsuit. Taylor is described as 5'10" tall, weighing 250 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
