LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Gov. Mike Beebe is set to release the results of an Arkansas State Police investigation into the state's Department of Community Corrections.
Beebe called for the review after a man on parole was arrested on a murder charge in Little Rock. The suspect had remained free despite several parole violations.
Beebe has said he wants to find out whether the case is isolated or one that indicates a widespread problem.
The results of the investigation are to be released during a news conference Monday at the state Capitol.Copyright 2013 The Associated Press. All rights reserved. This material may not be published, broadcast, rewritten or redistributed.
