Greenbrier HS creates fun video to support office worker with cancer

GREENBRIER (KATV) - Greenbrier High School came up with a fun way to support one of its own who is going through cancer. Students and staff created and participated in a "lip dub" video to show love to Mrs. Dana Taylor, an office staff member at GHS, as she battles cancer. According to Principal John Ashworth, some students came up with the idea and coordinated with several school departments and other students to make it happen. Ashworth said they were able to shoot the majority of the video in one take. Principal Ashworth said the video project was really unbelievable and that Mrs. Taylor was very moved. Taylor was diagnosed with cancer in January and is currently undergoing aggressive treatment. She is able to be at work when she feels up to it. "The kids see what life is really about. It's about relationships with others," Ashworth said. The video has already received thousands of hits on YouTube.
