Happy St. Patrick's Day Smoothies From Julianne Bitely!-Lots of fiber, energy, and even tastes good, too! Keep Calm and Eat(or Drink!) Your VeggiesOlivia's Green Smoothie of the Momenthandful of fresh spinach1/2 to 1 whole ripe bananahandful of pineapple (fresh or frozen)handful of mango (fresh or frozen)1 cup of pineapple coconut juiceBlend well and enjoy!*On a side note, she has been known to add in a handful of almonds andpossibly some berries, and she says it is equally delicious.Green PB & J1 cup of frozen kale2 TBSP of all natural peanut butter (no salt, sugar, or oil added)1/2 cup fruit of choice (I prefer strawberries)1 banana1 cup of unsweetened almond milkStart by blending on the lowest setting and work your way up to thehighest setting. Sometimes, the color can be a little off putting, somask the ick factor with your favorite cup and stick a straw in it.Tastes like mom's peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.Tropical Breeze Green Smoothie1/2 cup of spinach1/2 cup of kale1.5 cup of coconut pineapple juice1/4 cup mango1/2 cup papaya1/2 bananaBlend, stick and umbrella in it, and enjoy in sunshine.You may notice something all of these recipes have in common: Coconut & NutsWhy?Well, adding these (or even some avocado) to your green dish turns itinto a superfood!
