Henderson State hires assistant basketball coach

ARKADELPHIA, Ark. (AP) - Henderson State University head basketball coach Doug Nichols has announced the hiring of a new assistant coach.

Nichols said in a news release that Damon Francis will join the Reddie program after spending the past two years on the staff at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, N.J.

Francis is a former player and assistant coach at Ouachita Baptist University and was head coach of the OBU junior varsity.
