LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - The Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department is opening its headquarters to take input from motorists on how the Interstate 430 interchange with Interstate 30 should be improved.
The meeting is set for 4 p.m., Feb. 28, in the conference room of the agency's office along Interstate 30.
The highways meet in southwest Little Rock and are an important route for commuters from Saline County.
Possible changes include adding a second lane to the merge ramp from I-430 onto westbound I-30. Other ramps and traffic lanes could also be added.Copyright 2013 The Associated Press. All rights reserved. This material may not be published, broadcast, rewritten or redistributed.
