Hope police investigating man's death
HOPE, Ark. (AP) - Police in Hope say the death of a man who had trauma to his body is currently being investigated as suspicious pending an autopsy.
Police Chief J.R. Wilson told reporters that 29-year-old Robert Brown died at a Texarkana hospital where he was taken after officers found him unconscious and injured in an apartment shortly after 3:30 a.m. Sunday. Wilson says Brown reportedly fell from a moving vehicle and was taken to the apartment by friends who then called police and medical personnel.
Hempstead County Coroner Ben Brazzel told the Hope Star that Brown's body will be sent to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory in Little Rock for autopsy to determine both the cause and manner of death.Copyright 2014 The Associated Press.
