Leaders plead for information in Little Rock's latest murder

Community groups and Little Rock Police are pleading for the public's help in finding the man who shot and killed a woman in front of her home Saturday night.

Pastors, members of the "Stop the Violence" organization, and Little Rock police stood Monday in front of the home on West 11th Street where the shooting took place.

Officers found 44-year-old Tanyna Wilson on the ground in front of her home around 10 p.m. Saturday. She was taken to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Witnesses told investigators they heard two gunshots and a woman scream, then saw a man running from the area.

Monday, police released a generic suspect description. They say the shooter is a black male, about 5 feet 6 inches, and 180 pounds.
