Arkansas Lieutenant Governor Mark Darr says he's trying to fix mistakes he made on his finance reports after a website questioned hundreds of dollars he had reported spending on fundraising shortly after taking office.
Darr claims that the errors were made on forms reporting the debt that his campaign owed him after his successful 2010 race.
Darr is now seeking the Republican nomination for the District 4 U.S. House seat.
Darr issued the statement after the political blog "Blue Hog Report" questioned his campaign spending money in 2011 at restaurants and gas stations that were labeled as fundraisers.
The blog also reported that Darr called $1500 spent on Razorbacks tickets a fundraising expense.
