Little Rock woman goes above and beyond to help the homeless

Homelessness is a problem that's plagued the city of Little Rock for decades now but one woman decided she would do whatever she could to lend a hand to those in need.

Mindy Mosier works, who works at the north Little Rock ball park, says she would always see the homeless sleeping on the streets without a place to go and with little to eat. She said it took one cold January night for her to finally decide to do something about it.

"The first time I did it there was just so much appreciation and so much emotion and they didn't care where it came from or what it was they were just hungry," said Mosier.

Those she has helped cannot be anymore grateful for her.

"It's a blessing to me and to the other people too that's homeless," said Carlos Davis, who has been homeless for nine years.

Mosier gives out food, shoes, toiletries and even Snuggies for the homeless to keep warm especially going in to the colder months ahead. Mosier says she would love to continue passing out these supplies but is all out of them right now.
