LITTLE ROCK (KATV) - Monday night shortlyafter 7:30, officers responded to a standby at 11 Lakeside Drive.
When police arrived on the scene, theyfound Adrienne Abraham who claimed her first cousin, Elisa Brown, had just shotat her.
Abraham told LRPD the incident startedthat morning when she called Brown and notified her that she was headed to her residenceto collect $30 that Brown owed her. Her cousin did not answer her phone, but Abrahamstill went to her home. Abraham and Brown then had a verbal altercation whichended when Abraham left. Brown then called her cousin's phone several times butreceived no answer.
Around 7:15 p.m., Abraham finallyanswered the phone, and Brown allegedly stated that she would give the money toher if she returned. Shortly after Abraham's arrival, she claimed to havenoticed Brown standing in her door way with a silver hand-gun. Abraham did notstop and kept driving as Brown shot about four rounds towards Abraham's vehicle.
The bullets did not hit her car, but damageda neighbor's vehicle.
When officers tried to reach Brown, herkids opened the door and said she was taking a shower. Brown was uncooperativeand refused to comply with multiple commands given by officers to get out ofthe shower.
When she got out of the shower, she waschallenging officers at the location. She refused to answer any questions or provideany information.
Brown was taken into custody andtransported to the downtown detective office for further investigation.
Based on the statements provided by thevictims and the physical evidence found at the scene, Brown was arrested andcharged with aggravated assault on a family or household member, obstructinggovernmental operations, attempt to influence a public servant, and terroristicact.
