Transportation Security Administration officials found a loaded 9MM weapon inside a carry-on bag at a checkpoint at Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport Monday morning. Little Rock police arrested the owner of the bag. According to TSA the man arrested is from Arkansas and was traveling from Little Rock to Denver. This the 8th weapon that the TSA has found at the airport so far this year.
According to the TSA, passengers who bring firearms to a checkpoint face a civil penalty from the TSA of up to $11,000 as well as criminal charges.
