LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - An exit ramp from northbound Interstate 430 to Chenal Parkway in west Little Rock will be closed from Wednesday through Friday this week so workers can hang steel as the interchange is reconstructed.
The state Highway and Transportation Department said Monday that construction crews will be hanging large beams that will carry southbound traffic onto I-630 eastbound. The "flyover" ramp goes over the I-430 north exit ramp.
Drivers wanting to go west on Financial Center and Chenal parkways will have to leave the interstate one exit early, at Shackleford Road, and travel along Hermitage Road to head west. There are no left turns allowed at the intersection of Shackleford and Financial Center Parkway.
Signs will mark the detour.
