Man accused of LR robbery spree a Texas parolee

LITTLE ROCK (KATV) - We are learning more about the man accused of robbing nearly ten Little Rock businesses over a few days last week.

John Tillman was arrested Monday outside an Exxon station on Colonel Glenn.

Police say he knocked off several convenience stores between Thursday and Saturday. Witnesses say Tillman used a kitchen knife during some of the heists.

This isn't the first time Tillman has been accused of a string of robberies. In 2001 Tillman was convicted of 8 aggravated robberies in Texas. He got out of jail in 2011 and is still on parole.
