Man arrested for running over a Hillcrest pedestrian twice and then fleeing
LITTLE ROCK —
Police believe they've caught the man who ran over a woman not once, but twice.
Steven Kissinger of Searcy, 33, is charged with hit and run with injury, careless and prohibited driving and failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
On Sunday, several onlookers in the Hillcrest neighborhood saw a white extended cab Ford F-150 truck hit Lois Sandusky as she was crossing the street, then back up and ran over her once more before driving off.
Witnesses managed to get a partial license plate number off the truck before it drove away from the intersection at Kavanaugh Boulevard and Beechwood Street. Police say that information was key to arresting Kissinger.
