"It's in the Congressional Record. Tom Cotton voted four times to begin turning Medicare over to the insurance companies. He even voted to raise the age for Medicare to 70. The National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare says Cotton's plan cuts benefits. AARP says it removes the guarantee of affordable health coverage. So don't be fooled. Tom Cotton is running from his record. A record that would jeopardize your retirement," the ad says.
Pryor received the endorsement Monday of the National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare. A political action committee located in Washington, DC. The Chairman Max Richtman said in a press conference that the NCPSSM has 16,000 Arkansas members.
Cotton was also campaigning in the state Monday, holding a press conference in Northwest Arkansas on taxes.
"In starkcontrast to Senator Pryor's record of raising taxes on hard-working Arkansasfamilies, I will be a Senator that focuses on providing tax relief, reining inWashington's out-of-control spending, and balancing our budget to createjobs," Cotton said.
