CONWAY (KATV) - A monkey made its way through parts of Conway for a short time Tuesday afternoon after escaping from a veterinarian clinic.
"Joey" busted out of the Chestnut Animal Clinic through a grate in the floor, triggering an alarm. Police said he apparently didn't like the noise because once the alarm started to sound, he started throwing pens and pencils around the office.
He also had a brief play date with the clinic's pet cat before heading outside.
Conway Police were able to track down "Joey" near the intersection of Deer and Chestnut streets Tuesday evening and safely returned him to the clinic, but not before getting a bite on the hand.
