A motorcycle rider was killed late Monday night, as he hit a retaining wall and flipped over the Main Street bridge.

Police were called to Washington and Main Street about 11:30 p.m. Monday night, to the report of a person injured by the crash.

Emergency responders first found a man who was underneath the bridge, and who was hit by the falling motorcycle. They later found the rider, Michael Ross, 45, of North Little Rock dead at the scene.

The other victim, Roger Rayfus, 56, was transported to UAMS for his injuries, which police say do not appear to be life threatening.
