A movie shot in and around Stuttgart two years ago is making its way to the big screen.
"Mud" tells the story of two teenage boys who met a fugitive played by Matthew McConaughey. The boys decide to help him escape bounty hunters so he can reunite with his true love played by Reese Witherspoon.
The movie made its Arkansas premiere Tuesday evening at Rave Cinema in Little Rock. KATV's Renee Shapiro got to walk the red carpet and talk with a director from one of the main casting agencies.
Yancey Prosser, Director of The Agency, cast 40 roles and helped a 15-year-old boy from the Ouachita Mountains makes his nationwide debut in the film. Jacob Lofland plays the character Neckbone in "Mud."
