Nicholson Sculpture Plaza to be dedicated in LR

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - A sculpture park is to be dedicated at Little Rock's Riverfront Park.

The Nicholson Sculpture Park is named for the late Dale Nicholson, the longtime general manager of Little Rock television station KATV. The dedication is set for 11 a.m. Friday near the Belvedere Building.

The park features two sculptures. One was donated by Nicholson to honor his wife, Pat, after she died. The other was donated by Sculpture at the River Market in honor of Nicholson.

Both works were created by Jane DeDecker from Loveland, Colo., an artist of the National Sculptors' Guild.
