No injuries reported after emergency plane landing

HOT SPRINGS (KATV) - Garland County sheriff's officials say no injuries are reported after a small plane made an emergency landing near Hot Springs.

The plane was flying from Houston to St. Louis when it landed near Hot Springs Sunday afternoon.

Investigators say two people were on board the single-engine Beechcraft when it apparently experienced mechanical problems that forced the pilot to land in a field.
