Noodle Kugel is a Jewish Casserole usually served during the holidays. It can either be a dessert dish or a savory side dish. They both start off with the same ingredients, you just add a sweetener (sugar or honey, and fruit and{}cinnamon{}) to turn to dish into a dessert. We will be doing both today.

16 ounces of egg noodles, cooked as directed on the package. Drain as set aside.

Mix together in a large bowl:

6 ounces cream cheese

2 cup sour cream

2 cups cottage cheese

4 eggs

1/2 cup butter, melted

salt and pepper

You would mix your noodles in with your cheese{}mixture, pour into a greased baking dish and cook uncovered at 350 for about 45 minutes. If you wanted to add vegetables(broccoli, carrots, mushrooms etc){}to the dish you would want to add them before baking. Be sure to{}saute the vegetables before adding them to your Kugel.

If you wanted to make this into a sweet dessert dish, you would want to add the following ingredients to the cheese mixture before mixing it with the noodles.( Be sure to omit the pepper):

1 cup sugar

1 cup raisins

1 tablespoons cinnamon

sprinkle the dish with cinnamon and sugar before baking to give a nice look to the dish. Cook the same as above.
