Two people are being questioned by Little Rock Police Department for their possible involvement in a robbery and shooting Monday afternoon, in a bank parking lot.
Police found what is believed to have been the getaway car at a nearby apartment complex, and that's where the two men were taken into custody.
No formal charges have been filed at this time.
Channel 7's Justin Lewis learned that a local gas station owner was in the Arvest Bank parking lot on Chenal Parkway about to make a deposit, when a masked man approached him and demanded the cash bag.
After refusing to hand the bag over, the man shot the victim in the leg.
An onlooker at the Kroger gas station next to the bank saw the crime unfolding, and fired shots from his personal handgun at the car as it drove off.
One of the shots hit a bystanders vehicle, but police don't believe the getaway car was hit.

One person has been shot in a bank robbery at the Arvest Bank at 16105 Chenal.
There are conflicting reports as to the description of the robber, who some witnesses say was white, while others say he is black. The confusion may have been because the man was wearing a mask.
It appears the robber shot a customer as the customer was entering the bank.
Witnesses also say another person at a nearby gas station shot at the robber as he fled. No word on whether anyone was hit in that exchange.
