      Orange-Ginger Glazed Chicken Wings, 6/26/12

      Burger Fix

      20 chicken wing sections

      1 (6-ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate

      3 tablespoons hoisin sauce

      2 teaspoons honey

      1 tablespoon soy sauce

      1 teaspoon rice wine vinegar

      1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

      1tsp grated fresh ginger

      Vegetable oil, as needed

      Directions:

      Wash chicken wings in cold water.{}{}

      Pat wings dry with paper towels.{}{}

      Start pre heating {}oil to 350 degrees.

      While oil is heating{}combine sauce ingredients in a small sauce pan.{}{}

      Stir to combine and bring to a simmer stirring often.{}{}

      Simmer for approximately 10 minutes.

      Cook wings for 9 minutes turning as necessary.{}{}

      Remove wings from oil and drain.{}{}

      Place wings in a mixing bowl, drizzle with sauce and toss/stir to coat.{}{}

      Serve with celery sticks and blue cheese or ranch dressing{}
