Osceola High School teacher charged with sexually assaulting student

OSCEOLA - An Osceola High School teacher was arrested Thursday, charged with sexually assaulting at least one of her male students.

Nichole J. Winberry, 28, of Paragould faces four counts of first degree sexual assault.

Investigators first started looking into Winberry after a tip was given to the Arkansas Child Abuse Hotline, according to Prosecuting Attorney Scott Ellington. She surrendered to state police in Paragould on Thursday.

Winberry will appear in court Friday morning.
