Outbound flights in Little Rock expected to resume

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Flights out of the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport are expected to resume by mid-morning Wednesday.

Flights arriving and leaving the airport had been delayed or cancelled Tuesday due to fog. Airport spokesman Shane Carter says that because planes were not arriving Tuesday at the airport, there were no planes for outbound passengers Wednesday morning.

Carter says airlines are working to bring in planes and departing flights should resume around 9 a.m. Wednesday.

He says passengers should continue to expect delays as airlines work to accommodate passengers who were on cancelled or delayed flights Tuesday and early Wednesday.

Carter encourages passengers to check with their airline about the status of their flight.
