Outside money floods GOP AG run-off
In the run-off race for the Republican nomination for Attorney General, an out of state group known as the Judicial Crisis Network has placeda six-figure media buy to run ads and mailers touting the candidacy of David Sterling and opposing primary front runner Leslie Rutledge. The ad accuses Rutledge of not supporting a tougher "Stand Your Ground" law, which Rutledge denies. She issued this statement saying, "These ridiculous, manipulative attacks are an attempt by a secret group, with secret donors and a secret agenda, to manipulate Arkansas's Attorney General election for an unknown reason. I 100% support the right of any individual in the state of Arkansas to defend him/herself if attacked."
