HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (AP) - A donkey in Hot Springs is learning to walk again after months of treatment with a piece of equipment that sends pulses throughout the body. The Hot Springs Sentinel-Record reports (http://bit.ly/XpEZlz ) that 3-year-old Stormy developed paralysis in his hind legs earlier this year.Equine therapist Tricia Brophy used an electro acuscope for microcurrent therapy to help Stormy. The acuscope sends pulses at the same frequency the body produces to stimulate and speed up the healing process.Brophy said Stormy first got movement in his tail back, then his lower posterior and then his legs.Stormy's owner, Sharlyn Woody, says people used to always tell her Stormy would never walk again and ask she bothered trying to heal him. Now, though, she says everyone asks about how Stormy is going.(Copyright 2014 The Associated Press. All rights reserved.
