4 ounces German's sweet chocolate1/4 cup (1/2 stick) margarine3 cups of Rice Krispies1/2 gallon of softened vanilla ice cream3/4 cup of crushed peppermint candyBreak the chocolate into pieces in and put in a heavy saucepan. Add margarine. Heat until melted, stirring constantlyAdd cereal and mix well. Form crust with the mixture into a 10-inch pie plate.Chill in the refrigerator. Mix the ice cream and peppermint candy in a bowl. Spoon onto the Rice Krispie crust. Freeze for 3-4 hours or until firm.
