Pharmacy trashed by burglar, drugs stolen

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Authorities say a burglar ransacked a pharmacy and stole drugs from a Fred's Discount Store in southern Pulaski County.

Sheriff's deputies responded to a burglary alarm on Sunday and found that entry had been forced into the building.

The pharmacy was in disarray, with prescription bottles strewn about. Investigators say it appears a large quantity of narcotics was stolen.

Surveillance video showed a white male with very short brown hair inside the store. He wore khaki cargo shorts, a horizontal stripped shirt, and black flip flops. He appeared to be in his 20s or 30s, medium height with a stocky build. He was also wearing brown gloves.

The burglar used a large trash can from inside the store to cart away the stolen drugs.
