It's time to start Freezing for a Reason.
Law Enforcement across Arkansas gathered on Friday for the Polar Bear Plunge. The plunge will take place on Saturday December 11, in North Little Rock at the Lakewood Lake #3.
The event will begin with the "Super Plunge" which is committing to plunging 24 times in 24 hours to raise funds and awareness to Special Olympics Arkansas. Organizers goal is to bring people with intellectual disabilities into the mainstream of society in Arkansas under conditions where they are accepted, respected, and given the opportunity to become positive citizens.
The event is open to the community. Registration is at 11:00 a.m. and the plunge begins at noon.
