Police: 3 Arkansas men arrested for weapon, drugs
JONESBORO, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas police say they have arrested three men after finding drugs in their car and a loaded revolver hidden in a box of chicken.
KAIT-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1kVyS32 ) Jonesboro police arrested the men Saturday after a traffic stop. Twenty-five-year-old Timothy Peals and 23-year-olds Joseph James and Timothy Harvey were charged with drug possession with intent to deliver and simultaneously possessing drugs and firearms.
An officer says he pulled over their car for repeatedly crossing the center line. He says the driver gave him consent to search the vehicle. The officer says he found a .22 magnum inside a box of Chester's chicken. He also found marijuana, Xanax and a digital scale.
Online jail records didn't indicate attorneys for the men.
