Police still looking for driver responsible for hit-and-run
LITTLE ROCK (KATV) —
A runner found a man unconscious on Monday morning at a curb of Amherst Cove and North Hughes Street.
Police say 76-year-old Barry Livingston was hit while going on his routine morning walk.
While on his morning run, Little Rock resident Taylor Moore spotted Livingston lying in the grass unconscious. Officers arrived to the scene shortly after and Livingston was taken to the hospital just after 6 a.m.
Cybil Carrol, Livingston's next door neighbor of 38 years, said he left the house to take his dog for a walk at 4:30 a.m.Livingston is still listed in critical condition. He suffered severe head trauma as well as a broken leg.
