Poll: War in Afghanistan more unpopular than Vietnam
WASHINGTON (CNN) - A new national poll suggests the war in Afghanistan could be the most unpopular war in U.S. history - even more than Vietnam.
The CNN/ORC International survey found support by Americans for the war in Afghanistan at a mere 17 percent. That's even lower than numbers polled during the famously divisive Vietnam War.
Opposition to the war in Afghanistan now stands at 82 percent - up from 46 percent five years ago.
The U.S. is scheduled to remove all combat troops from Afghanistan by December 2014.
