Remington Arms Co-Workers Pocket $40k in winnings
(KATV,Source: ASL) Daniel Pinkerton of DeValls Bluff and Allean White of England are bothemployees of Remington Arms Company in Lonoke. Tuesday, they claimed a Mega Millionsprize of $40,000 to share.
Theticket was purchased at Shell Food Mart on Main Street in England. Thetwo co-workers are the remaining members of a workplace lottery group (dubbedthe Remington Lottery Group), which started with 5 co-workers three years agoat Remington Arms. A spokesperson for the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery says office lottery pools are a fun and economical way to play,and this one really worked out for Daniel and Allean.
Towin, the two bought a $1 Mega Millions ticket that correctly matched fourof the five whiteball numbers (1 to 56) as well as the Megaball number (1 to46), producing a $10,000 prize. They wisely added the $1 Megaplier, whichmultiplied their prize to $40,000.
Danielsaid he plans to buy a new vehicle, and Allean will pay off her vehicle andtake care of other financial matters.
