Roger Susanin

Roger Susanin is a General Assignment Reporter for the Channel 7 News Team. Before joining KATV in March, Roger was a reporter and fill-in anchor for a cable news station in Northeast Pennsylvania.

Roger's association with the news began at the tender age of two, when Hurricane Gloria trapped his family on the New Jersey coastline. As their town's sole non-evacuees, Roger and the rest of the Susanins were featured on newscasts throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. Roger recalls enjoying the experience greatly.

Roger grew up just outside of Philadelphia and has two sisters, Audrey and Lizzie. He received a BA in Broadcast Journalism at Syracuse University's Newhouse School of Public Communications, where he was a Chancellors Scholar and winner of the Maxwell Scholarship. In his junior year he interned at NBC London.

Roger is an avid sports fan. He was a Sports Broadcaster and Reporter for WAER Syracuse Public Radio Station while he in college. He loves the Orange but he already enjoys rooting for the Razorbacks.

When not reporting the news, Roger can often be found exploring Central Arkansas and getting to know its residents.
