Santa goes to the dogs

(KATV) It's Christmas time and animal lovers don'twant their pets to be left out.

Several businesses are opening their doors forSanta to stop by and take pictures with pets. The proceeds go to shelters thattake care of animals that need forever homes.

From 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Sunday, you canshow up at Petsmart. A 4x6 digital photo cost $10.95. A holiday frame is alsoincluded and you pick the best picture. Five dollars from each picture will bedonated to the North Little Rock Friends of the Animals to benefit the NLRAnimal Shelter.

All four-legged friends are welcome.

Santa will also be stopping by Just DogsGourmet at the Promenade at Chenal. He'll be there from 12-5 p.m. Prices rangefrom $15, $30 to $45. All proceeds benefit the animals at the Humane Society ofPulaski County. The adoption unit will be on site in case you want to adopt afurry to share the holidays with and join you in a picture with Santa.

Each Saturday and Sunday through December 16th,Santa will be at Petsmart and proceeds will go to the local animal welfareorganization participating that day.
