GARLAND CITY, Ark. (AP) - The search continues for two men who went missing while fishing on the Red River in southwest Arkansas.
Crews are searching for 60-year-old Bill Cooper and 56-year-old John Fairbanks, who went missing Friday afternoon when their fishing boat capsized north of the U.S. 82 bridge that connects Miller and Lafayette counties.
Dangerously high waters have slowed the search for the men, but officials say water levels should drop enough this weekend to allow searchers to drag the river.
One woman survived the capsizing. Arkansas Game and Fish Commission Capt. Jackie Runion tells the Texarkana Gazette (http://bit.ly/12FyQTO ) that the survivor was the only 1 of the three wearing a life preserver.
