Sen. Boozman announces fall intern program

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Republican U.S. Sen. John Boozman has announced that his office is now looking for full or part-time interns in his offices in Washington, D.C. and in Arkansas during the 2014 fall semester.

Interns in Washington will take part in the daily operations of the Senate office and attend both committee hearings and watch floor proceedings from the Senate gallery. Interns in the senator's seven state offices will work in constituent services and interact with the community while serving as a liaison to the Washington office.

The state offices are in Lowell, Fort Smith, Mountain Home, Jonesboro, Little Rock, Stuttgart and El Dorado.

The deadline to apply is Aug. 15th.
