LAWRENCE COUNTY (KAIT) - An Imboden man accused of threatening two people with a shotgun reportedlytold investigators he was "just trying to scare them."
On Saturday, August 10, Lawrence County sheriff's deputies, along withofficers from the Pocahontas Police Department and the Randolph CountySheriff's Office, arrested 35-year-old Kenneth Hutton for aggravated assaultwith a deadly weapon.
A 911 caller reportedly said Hutton had threatened two people with a 12-gaugeshotgun.
A short time later Hutton was in custody in Randolph County. Dotsonsaid officers found a 12-gauge shotgun in Hutton's possession at the time ofhis arrest.
On the way to the jail Hutton told the deputy he was "just trying to scare"the victims.
