Suspect arrested after firing shots at SWAT team
LITTLE ROCK (KATV) —
A SWAT team came under fire Tuesday as officers tried to serve a warrant in Little Rock.
According to police, the LRPD SWAT team was serving a high risk search and seizure warrant Tuesday around 9 p.m. at 2706 South Washington Street.
Police say when officers tried to make their way into the home, 43-year-old Patrick Johnson fired at officers from inside.
One officer fired back and no one was hit or injured by the gunfire.
Johnson was taken into custody and is being held at the Pulaski County jail.
He has been charged with 8 counts of Criminal Attempt to Commit Capital Murder, as well as one count of Possession of a Firearm and one count of Failure to Appear.
