St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rocks ranks as the number one hospital in Arkansas by U.S. News & World Report's Best Regional Hospitals Rankings. St. Vincent is recognized as the number one top-performing hospital and high performing in eight specialties - the highest number of specialties for hospitals ranked in Arkansas. St. Vincent Infirmary is rated number one and best in cancer, cardiology & heart surgery, gastroenterology & GI surgery, geriatrics, nephrology, neurology & neurosurgery, orthopedics, and urology.
"Consumer surveys and other companies that hand out awards are very confusing to the public. U.S. News & World Report has become the definitive source for ranking the nation's best universities/colleges and hospitals," said Peter D. Banko, President & CEO St. Vincent Health System. "That is why we are so very proud of this achievement. Our staff does a tremendous job each and every day of living up the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth's legacy of 'putting the patients first' for 125 years. We also have the privilege of partnering with some truly world-class physicians who do common things uncommonly well."
This ranking from U.S. News and World Report, highlighting eight specialties, places St. Vincent Infirmary in the top three percent, in eight specialties, of all hospitals that earn a national ranking in any specialty. We're very proud of that achievement," Banko added.
