State police get new crop of low-profile cruisers

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - The Arkansas State Police are rolling out new low-profile vehicles designed to blend in with ordinary traffic.

The agency planned to show off the vehicles at headquarters early Wednesday.

Each of the 12 troops in the state will get 1 of the vehicles. The customized cars are to be used with the agency's regular patrol cars as troopers enforce traffic and other laws.
