SWAT called out, but suspect not found inside abandoned home
LITTLE ROCK (KATV) —
Police say a suspect in a Sunday evening shooting was not located inside an abandoned home, as investigators originally believed.
The SWAT team was called out to a home on S. Valentine Street in Little Rock, following reports that a man had fired a weapon at a woman following a dispute. The victim told police that the man fled into the nearby abandoned home where he barricaded himself inside.
Crisis negotiators used a public address system to try to make contact with the suspect. Eventually, SWAT entered and searched the home. Police say the suspect was not inside, but investigators are following up on other leads to locate him.
