Teenager shot and robbed inside vehicle

NORTH LITTLE ROCK (KATV) - A teenager is shot and robbed inside his car early Saturday morning.

According to North Little Rock Police Department spokesman Sergeant Brian Dedrick, around 1:30 a.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting on the 1700 block of Main Street.

Police found 18-year-old Jerod Crutchfield suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in his vehicle. Three other juvenile passengers were also found unharmed inside the car.

Sgt. Dedrick said a suspect walked up to the vehicle and demanded everything the Crutchfield had. Police believe Crutchfield also had a gun and tried to defend himself, but was shot by the suspect in the process.
