Teens turning away from cigarettes but still getting nicotine fix

Fewer teens are smoking cigarettes, but they're finding their nicotine fix somewhere else.

The Centers for Disease Control's Tobacco Survey found a decline in teens smoking cigarettes, but also found a notable increase in teens use of hookahs and e-cigarettes.

The CDC attributed the increase to lower prices for those products as well as their increased marketing, availability, and perception that they are safer alternatives to cigarettes.
